After automatic shutdown, the appliance can only be put into operation by pressing the Reset button on

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
6.1 Safety instructions
Any maintenance, cleaning or repair of the device must be carried out with the device unplugged (isolated
from all electrical sources).
The use of caustic detergents and baking soda for cleaning is prohibited. Water must not penetrate inside
the device.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
Use Casselin brand products intended for this purpose.
WARNING
The device cannot be cleaned by direct water jet (no pressurized water jet).
6.2 Daily maintenance
Unplug the device
Allow the appliance to cool
Clean the appliance after each use, including the grease collection tray.
Clean the appliance with warm water and a clean cloth after each use.
After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to polish and dry the appliance. All parts should
be dried.
Never use hard or abrasive materials that could scratch the device and damage it. Do not use
of chlorinated or derived solution.
After each cleaning, apply vegetable oil to the surface of the plate.
Store the appliance in a dry place.
6.3 Safety instructions for device maintenance
Check the power cord daily for damage. Never use the appliance if the cord is damaged. If the cord is
defective, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
In the event of a breakdown, contact your dealer.
Any maintenance or repair work should only be carried out by a professional.

In the event of a circuit breaker, unplug the appliance, let it cool down and contact your dealer. If the appliance
does not start, check your power cord. The appliance must not be plugged into a power strip but directly into
a wall socket. For any other anomaly, contact your dealer.

Waste from used appliances: any used appliance must, when disposed of, comply with the regulations in
force in its country*. It is imperative to render the appliance unusable before disposal by removing the power
supply cable.
