5. INSTALLATION AND USE
5.1 Safety instructions
ELECTRICAL DANGER
Risk of electric current!
• No contact with heat sources should take place with the electrical cord.
• The cord should not hang over the edge of a table or counter.
• Do not pour water into an appliance that is running or still hot.
• The appliance must be connected properly and in accordance with current regulations.
WARNING

COMMISSIONING
The device must be completely removed from its packaging. All protections must be fully
removed. Place the appliance on a solid, flat surface. Never place the griddle on a flammable surface.
Do not install this appliance near open fires or other heating appliances.
The electrical cable must be protected at least 16 Amps. The appliance must be plugged directly into a wall
outlet. Using a power strip will cause the appliance to trip.
Heat the appliance for 20 minutes until all smoke and odor have dissipated.
Turn off and unplug the appliance, then use hot, soapy water to clean the plates.
