16.Remove creases in the leak protection lining towards the top.
- There must be no creases around the manhole neck and in the bottom
area.
- The product must be laid stress-free.
- The nameplate must be clearly visible.
17.Place the base plate under the cross straps. Make sure that the ladder is
only resting on the base plate when entering on.

Verifying tightness
Verify that the ambient temperature is constant during the test.
1. Connect the vacuum pump to the connection of the suction line.
2. Connect the pressure measuring instrument to the connection of the
measuring line.
3. Generate a negative pressure of 600 mbar in the interstitial space.
4. Then reduce the negative pressure in the interstitial space to 300 mbar for
the tightness test.
5. Refer to the following table for the test duration.
- With a test duration of at least 30 minutes, the negative pressure may
be decrease by no more than 3 mbar.

6. After a successful test, set the negative pressure to approximately
50 mbar before connecting the leak detector to the interstitial space.
