TIPS FOR BEST USE
* For the best avor and aroma, use the freshest co ee beans possible. Check the bag for a "Roast-
ed On" date and don't buy more than you can use.
* Only ll the bean hopper with the quantity of co ee beans that you intend to use in the near
future and store the remainder in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
* The required grind size varies based on co ee preparation method and personal preference.
* The amount of ground co ee needed will vary depending on the quantity of co ee you intend
to make, preparation method, grind size, type and roast of bean, and personal preference.
* The actual grind size produced by a particular grinder setting can vary depending on a number
of factors, including: type of bean, degree of roast (light vs dark), bean freshness and oil content,
and ambient humidity.
* With use you will quickly discover which settings best suit your personal co ee-making prefer-
ences.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning the co ee bean hopper, ground co ee container, burrs, and co ee chute regularly will
help keep your grinder operating properly and prevent the buildup of co ee oils and residue that
could impact the taste of your co ee.
1. Always unplug the burr grinder before cleaning or storing. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull it
from the electrical outlet. Never unplug pulling on the power cord.
WARNING – DO NOT immerse the burr grinder body in water or any other liquid. ALWAYS
UNPLUG the appliance from the electric outlet before cleaning.
2. Remove the bean hopper lid and empty any remaining co ee beans from the hopper. Replace
the hopper lid, plug the burr grinder back in, and run the grinder until empty.
3. Unplug the grinder again and remove the co ee bean hopper by rotating it counterclockwise
to unlock and then lifting it away. Remove the upper burr grinder using the same method.
4. Wash the co ee bean hopper and lid, ground co ee container and lid, and porta lter cradle in
warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads.
5. Use the included cleaning brush to carefully remove any co ee residue from the upper and
lower burrs and the ground co ee chute. If needed, wipe the ground co ee chute and the outside
of the motor body with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
6. Make sure that the ground co ee chute, motor body, and all removable parts are completely
dry before reassembling.
7. Store the burr grinder unplugged and fully assembled in a clean, dry place.

PROCEDURE
Unplug the grinder and empty the co ee
grounds from the ground co ee container.
Let the motor rest for at least 15 minutes
and then plug the grinder back in and
continue grinding.
Unplug the grinder and remove the co ee
bean hopper. Carefully replace the bean
hopper and ensure that it is positioned
correctly and locked into place. Plug the
grinder back in and continue grinding.
