MICROWAVE OVEN HOOD COMBINATION QUICK START GUIDE
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS, located in your appliance's Owner's Manual, before operating this appliance.
Using Hood Fan
Press Fan key setting the vent fan among HIGH→MEDIUM→LOW→OFF.
Using Hood Light
Press Light key setting the hood light among HIGH→LOW→OFF.
Using Your Microwave Oven to Cook
Step 1.
Open the door.
Step 2.
Place food inside the microwave oven.
Step 3.
Select recipe.
Step 4.
Enter/Sense the amounts, or manually set the cooking length.
Step 5.
Close the door.
Step 6.
Press Start to start the cooking.
Step 7.
The Cancel key can be use to cancel the function during or after cook time.

ALUMINUM FOIL AND METAL (For Microwave Ovens Only)
Always use oven mitts or pot holders when removing dishes from the microwave oven.
Aluminum foil and some metal can be used in the microwave oven. If not used properly, arcing (a blue flash of
light) can occur and cause damage to the microwave oven.
OK for Use
To avoid damage to the microwave oven, do not allow contact with another metal object during microwave
cooking.
■ Browning dish (Follow manufacturer recommendations.)
■ Ceramic glass, glass
■ China, earthenware (Follow manufacturer recommendations.)
■ Melamine (Follow manufacturer recommendations.)
■ Paper towels, paper plates, napkins (Use non-recycled paper.)
■ Plastic wraps, bags, covers, dinnerware, containers (Follow manufacturer recommendations.)
■ Pottery and clay (Follow manufacturer recommendations.)
■ Silicone bakeware (Follow manufacturer recommendations.)
■ Wax paper
Do Not Use
Metal cookware and bakeware, gold, silver, pewter, non-approved meat thermometers, skewers, twist ties, foil
liners such as sandwich wrappers, staples, and objects with gold or silver trim or a metallic glaze should not be
used in the microwave oven.
Using Your Oven to Cook
Always use oven mitts or pot holders when removing dishes from the oven, use the provided accessories or
oven proof bakeware to bake/toast/broil/convect bake/roast goods (on some models.)
Step 1.
Select oven modes.
Step 2.
Select recipe.
Step 3.
Follow the display prompt to insert the accessories on the suggested level.
Step 4.
Set food weight, size, pieces or manual set temperature.
Step 5.
Press Start key to begin. Some cooking function has preheating steps.
Step 6.
Place food into the provided accessory or a ovenproof bakeware, and then put inside the oven on the
right level.
Step 7.
Close the door.
Step 8.
(Optional) Enter time to cook.
Step 9.
Press Start key to begin.
Step 10.
The Cancel key can be use to cancel the function during or after cook time.
ALUMINUM FOIL (For Ovens Only)
IMPORTANT: To avoid permanent damage to the oven bottom finish, do not line the oven bottom with any type of
foil or liner.
Wire rack, toast pan, air fry basket, probe(on some models) are supplied with the oven, aluminum foil for
shielding, may be used with the following guidelines:
■ For best cooking results, do not cover entire rack with foil because air must be able to move freely.
■ To catch spills, place foil on rack below dish. Make sure foil is at least 1/2" (1.3 cm) larger than the dish and
that it is turned up at the edges.
OVEN VENT(S)
The microwave oven vent(s) is flushed to the cabinet, it will be
opened automatically when it works, should not be blocked or
covered since it allow the inlet of fresh air into the cooling system.
Also the bottom vent should not be blocked or covered since it allows
the inlet of fresh air into the cooling system and the outlet of hot air
from the cooling system. Blocking or covering vents will cause poor
air circulation, affecting cooking, cleaning, and cooling results.

POSITIONING WIRE RACK, TOAST PAN
There are three positions for wire rack, toast pan, other cookware. The right position will help you to cook food in a
good performance. Depending on your recipe, see the online Control Guide.

CLEAN/REPLACE GREASE FILTER:

SABBATH MODE:
The Sabbath Mode sets the oven to remain on in a bake setting until disabled.
