ELECTRICAL PRUNING SHEAR
15.2 GREASING AND BLADE REPLACEMENT
General maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and blade replacement requires
some disassembly and assembly of your pruner.
The cover is fastened to the pruner by 2 screws. The center bolt is secured with
an adjustable gear nut which is locked into place by a gear nut clip. The gear
nut clip is secured by a single bolt.
With the removal of the of the cover, adjustment clip, gear nut, and center
bolt you can access, maintain, clean, lubricate and replacement of blades when
necessary.
A.
Turn on the pruner. Open the
blade and disconnect the shears.
Loosen the screw of the adjustment
clip with a metric Allen key 4 (1).
Remove the screw (1) from the
adjustment clip and the adjustment
clip (2). Loosen the gear nut with a
wrench and remove the adjusting
gear nut (3). Remove the center
screw (4).
