6.4 TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEMS CAUSES
The satellite dish cannot be -No power supply to the satellite
opened dish
-An obstacle is on the satellite dish
-The vehicle is moving or engine
is on
-Loose or broken connection
Error: satellite not found - Obstacles in front of the satellite
dish (trees, metal walls, buildings,
etc.) prevent the reception of the
signal.
- The connection from the box to
the LNB is loose
- You are outside or at the extreme
limits of the satellite footprint
Error: rotation maximum - there are obstacles in the area of
stress action of the satellite dish (trees,
ice or snow)
Error: elevation maximum - there are obstacles in the area of
stress action of the satellite dish (trees,
ice or snow)
Rotation error - the rotation motor does not work
Elevation error - the elevation motor does not
work
Error: insufficient - the battery is too low and cannot
power supply ensure the correct operation of
the system
Error: unstable - faulty battery or presence of non
power supply stabilised power supply
The satellite dish - slow connections
loses the signal
- strong storm or wind
RF cable error broken or disconnected satellite

SOLUTIONS
-Check the power supply & fuse
-Switch the control panel on
- Remove the obstacle
- Stop the vehicle and turn of
- Check the connections
- Move the vehicle away from
anything that prevents satel -
lite reception and make sure
that the South is free from ob-
stacles
- tighten the connectors and try
again
- Make sure that you have fol -
lowed the instructions in para-
graph 4.7; otherwise wait until
you arrive in a more central
area
- remove the obstacles that pre-
vent rotation
- Remove the obstacles which
are causing the obstruction .
- check the connections of the
grey cable to the box from the
satellite dish to the external
unit position
- check the connections of the
grey cable to the box from the
satellite dish to the external
unit position
- charge the battery
Turn of any current generators
or have the battery checked
- check and tighten the F con -
nections of the box, satellite
dish and decoder
- wait until the storm or wind
cease
- check the connection
- check the supply voltage
- check the LNB
