Functioning of the Tulikivi Senso LED display

Read the operating manual of the fireplace and the fireplace controller before reading these instructions
for the LED display installed as an accessory of the product.
The display is located on the casing cover of the fireplace controller underneath the fireplace door
(Figure 1). The LED display buttons are also located behind the casing cover. You can remove the front
panel by slightly lifting it at the lower edge and by pulling it backwards.
The LED display shows the heat capacity information and the mode information of the fireplace.
The five (5) LED lights at the top row show the heat capacity information of the fireplace. The lower
row has one LED light indicating the fireplace mode information. The LED mode light is lit when the
door is kept open for more than 10 seconds and the fireplace moves from the 'standby mode' to the
'ignition mode'. The dim lights are lit in the order from left to right as heat capacity increases, as the
fireplace starts to heat up. The fireplace has almost reached maximum heat capacity when five (5)
light LED lights are lit on the top row. The full heat capacity of the fireplace has been reached, when
the lights turn orange. When the orange LED lights are lit, do not add any more wood. Five (5)
red LED lights on the top row indicate overheating. The device will store the hours of overheating in
its memory. When three to four (3 to 4) LED lights out of five (5) are on, it means that about half of
the heat capacity has been retained. One (1) LED light on the top row means a capacity increase or
decrease of approximately 15 percentage units. Three (3) LED lights mean approximately 32 to 47%
out of the optimal capacity and four lights (4) LED 48 to 63%, respectively. No lights are lit when the
capacity is less than 5% of the optimum.
There is no need to heat the fireplace to its maximum capacity every time, if you notice that a
smaller amount is enough. No LED lights are lit when the fireplace is cold or has remained unused for
a long time. A dim LED light lights up on the bottom row when the door of a cold fireplace is opened.
The light will start flashing if the door remains open for too long. When the door is closed, the air
control lever will begin adjustment after a while. If the door is kept open for less than 10 s, the fireplace
controller will return to its previous mode. When the device is functioning normally, a dim LED light
will be lit on the lower row. When more wood is needed, the device will always notify this with an
orange LED light and a sound signal. The device uses a red LED light to notify of error situations and
maintenance needs.
When pellets are used, the device will notify the user to not add any more pellets.
