• Only use adhesives approved by the manufac-
turer.
• The product generates intense heat. Keep all
objects well away from the hot product, which
could be destroyed or otherwise damaged by the
heat. Please use the stand rovided.
• Allow the product cool after use and then put
away.
• The product may not be used when moist or wet
as there is a risk of a fatal electric shock!
• Only transport the product when it has completely
cooled as there is a risk of burning and/or fire! The
same applies when, for instance, changing the
nozzle (having already isolated the product from
the mains voltage!).
• Protect your body and eyes from hot liquid glue.
Wear the appropriate protective clothing and gog-
gles while you are working.
• During operation the entire area in front of the
product is very hot. To prevent burns always hold
the product only by the handle.
• Symbols appearing on your product may not be
removed or covered. Information on the product
that are no longer legible must be replaced imme-
diately.
Read and observe the operating instructions
before commissioning.
Only re-charge the battery pack indoors.
Do not dispose of a battery pack with the
household waste!
Do not dispose of a battery pack in water!
Do not burn the battery pack!

Assembly

Place the stand (7) at the front of the product. Fold
the stand forwards before putting the the plug into the
socket and positioning the gun as shown in the illus-
tration.
Charging the rechargeable battery
WARNING! Risk of injury! Comply with all
safety instructions when handling recharge-
able devices.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit! Do
not allow the battery pack to deep dis-
charge.
The battery must be charged prior to the first start-up.
(Charging period: ► Technical data – p. 19).

• The charging status is displayed by the control
lights (3).
Operating information
• Do not use any flammable solvents to clean the
adhesive joints.
• The ambient temperature and the material to glue
must not be cold than +5 °C and not warmer than
+50 °C.
• Adhesive joints must be clean, dry and free of
grease.
• Roughen any smooth surfaces before gluing.
• Heat up any materials that cool quickly, such as
metals, to aid adhesion.

Operation
Check before switching on!
• Check to make sure the device is in a safe oper-
ating condition:
– Check to make sure there are no visible
defects.
– Check to make sure all device components are
correctly mounted.
Switching on and off
Note: To save energy, only switch the power
tool on when using it.
Note: The device switches off automatically
after 10 minutes to save energy.
– To switch on, press the on/off switch (2) until the
heating indicator (1) lights up.
