Unpacking
Unpack the unit and make sure all of the pieces are
there.

Assembly
DANGER! Risk of injury during assem-
bly! The ceiling fitting must have suffi-
cient stability to carry the threshold load
and the own weight of the lifting block.
In the event of doubt, consult an engineer.
Also, during the installation process, no
person should stand under the installation
location.
Note: If possible, use two people to carry
out the assembly.

– Hang the lifting block using the mounting hook (5)
to the fitting.
– Ensure that the safety trap (7) of the mounting
hook is closed.
Using for the first time
Note: Both the winch chain and the load
chain must be free and move freely. They
may not display any unusual resistances.
– Before using for the first time, completely extend
and retract the lifting block with no load in order to
ensure the functionality.
Check before starting the device!
DANGER! Risk of injury! The device
may only be put into operation if there are
no defects. If a part is defective, it must be
replaced before the machine is used
again.
– Check to make sure there are no visible defects.
– Check to make sure all unit components are cor-
rectly mounted.
– Check to make sure the safety equipment is func-
tioning properly.
Operation
NOTICE! Risk of injury! Prior to each
use, check to see whether any parts, in
particular chain links, are deformed,
cracked or rusted.
DANGER! Risk of damage to the unit!
If an unusually loud noise is generated
when lifting, the unit is either overloaded
or defective.

– Hang the load using suitable fixtures to the load
hook (1).
– Ensure that the safety trap (7) of the load hook is
closed.
– Pull the winch chain (6) gently so that the winch
wheel in the gear turns in a clockwise direction
and the load chain is slowly raised.
– To lower, gently pull on the other side the winch
chain (6) to lower the load slowly.
Cleaning and maintenance
DANGER! Risk of injury! Prior to con-
ducting maintenance or cleaning:
– Allow the device to cool down.
DANGER! In the interest of your own
safety! Carry out only the maintenance
work described here in person.
