7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool down before cleaning it.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.

Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
If you don't intend to use the appliance for a long period of time:
Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power outlet. Empty the appliance.

Clean and dry the interior completely. To avoid mould or unpleasant odours, leave the door
slightly open.
Store the appliance in a ventilated and dry place, away from heat sources; place the

appliance carefully and do not place heavy objects on it.

The appliance must be kept out of the reach of children to prevent them from playing with
it.
Cleaning the interior and exterior

Empty the interior and clean it with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with lukewarm water
or neutral detergent. After using detergent, make sure you rinse it with clean water, and
then dry it with a cloth.
Do not use strong cleaners, scouring pads, or dissolvents to clean any of the appliance

parts.

Often clean dust that may accumulate. The condenser grille on the rear of the appliance
and all adjacent components can be cleaned with a soft-brush vacuum cleaner.
Replacing the light bulb
The appliance has a light characterised by its low energy consumption and long lifespan. In case
of malfunction, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. Only the manufacturer
or authorised personnel may replace the bulb.
