• Blow through or clean connections before
using for the first time. Soiling can impair
the function and and safety of the product.
• Disconnect the product from the com-
pressed air supply during breaks in work,
prolonged periods of non-use or taking
out of operation.
• The product may only be connected to
lines that have a protection mechanism to
prevent the maximum permissible pres-
sure from being exceeded by more than
10%. This can be achieved, for example,
by a pressure regulating valve with a
downstream or built-in pressure limiting
valve being fitted into the compressed air
line.
• Only operate the product at the pressure
required for the operation concerned, in
order to prevent unnecessarily high noise
levels, excessive wear and the resultant
malfunctions.
• Compressed air can be dangerous if the
operator is unsure how it should be han-
dled. Assembly, commissioning and
maintenance is reserved for trained and
experienced persons.
• Do not direct compressed air at yourself
or at others in order to clean clothing and
footwear.
• Never blast objects that contain hazard-
ous substances (e.g. asbestos).
• Never use solvent-based liquids, acetone,
undiluted acids or solvents as cleaning
agents! A spray mist from these sub-
stances is highly hazardous to health and
possibly explosive.
• Live components in the work area must be
protected from dirt and dust particles
being blown around.
• Only use compressed air. Never use air
containing chemicals, synthetic oils
(organic solvents), salts or corrosive gas,
as it can cause damage and malfunctions.
• Use only lubricants recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Compressed air products are not earthed.
Proceed with caution when coming into
contact with power sources.
• Always attach protective caps when
transporting or storing products and
accessories.

Operation
Check before starting!
Check the safe condition of the product:
– Check whether there are visible defects.
– Check that all parts of the product have
been securely fitted.
– Check if the compressed air connection
and the compressed air hoses do not
leak.
– Check that pressure builds up in the com-
pressed air system and that the con-
nected appliance is ready for use.
DANGER! Danger of injury! Never
use force to pull the hose out of the
reel. A torn hose moves uncontrolla-
bly and can result in serious injuries.
