Assembly
Assembling as leaf blower

DANGER! Risk of injury! Never use the
unit with only one part of the blow nozzle
attached.
– Plug both parts of the blow nozzle (1) together as
shown and allow them to engage securely.
– Push the blow nozzle (1) onto the blow opening of
the motor housing until the release button (15)
engages.

– Close the protective cover of the intake open-
ing (5).
Note: The unit cannot be switched on if the
protective cover is not completely closed.
– To remove the blowing nozzle, press the release
button (15) and pull off the nozzle.
Assembling as a leaf vacuum cleaner

WARNING! Risk of injury! Never use the
unit with only one part of the suction pipe
attached.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device! 
After the two-piece suction pipe has been
plugged together, it must not be disassem-
bled into two parts again.
– Plug both parts of the suction pipe (7) together as
shown and let them engage securely.
– Push the collecting bag (8) onto the blow opening
of the motor housing until the release button (15)
engages.
– Open the protective cover of the intake open-
ing (5).
– Insert suction pipe (7) into aspiration port as illus-
trated, until the release button (16) engages.
Note: If the suction pipe is not fully engaged
the device will not switch on.
– Hook the collection bag into the eyelet (17) as
shown.
– To remove the collecting bag, press the release
button (15) and pull off the collecting bag.
– To remove the suction pipe, press the release but-
ton (16) and pull out the suction pipe.
Using for the first time
Charging the battery pack
Note: Rechargeable battery and charger
are not part of the scope of delivery and are
available optionally from your dealer
(► Accessories – p. 26).
WARNING! Risk of injury! Comply with all
safety instructions when handling recharge-
able devices.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit! Do
not allow the battery pack to deep dis-
charge.
Note: The Li-Ion battery pack can be
charged at any time without affecting the
lifetime of the unit. Interrupting the charging
process will not damage the battery pack.
• The battery pack must be charged prior to the first
start-up (charging time: ► Technical data – 
p. 26).
– Press in the locking button (12) and remove the
battery from the device.
– Insert the battery pack into the charger.
– Plug the charger into the power supply.
The charging status is displayed by the control
lights (13).
