Device-specific safety instructions
• The product must be standing on an even, hori-
zontal surface with clearance to all sides.
• The product may not be operated outdoors.
• Never put objects through the protective grille into
the product.
• Objects that can be pulled (e. g. curtains, plants),
must not be in the immediate vicinity.
• Never expose the product to water or other liq-
uids.
• The product must not be operated in rooms with
bathtubs, showers or swimming pools or near to
wash basins or water connections.
• Remember that moving parts may also be located
behind ventilation and venting slots.
• If the power cord of this device is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, its cus-
tomer service department or a similarly qualified
person, in order to avoid potential hazards.
• Symbols appearing on your device may not be
removed or covered. Signs on the device that are
no longer legible must be replaced immediately.

– Put the foot base (10) on flat ground.
– Fix the shaft of the fan (9) to the base foot, and
then fix the shaft and foot base by screws (11).
Push the blade along motor shaft.
• This fan is supplied with a moulded surround
which must be fitted to the base of the fan before
the fan is used.
• The moulded base surround is supplied with 2 off
retaining screws (in a small poly bag taped to the
inside of the surround).
– Remove the bag containing the screws and posi-
tion the surround on the moulded retaining clips
on the base and snap into place. Ensure that the
surround has clipped firmly into position onto the
fan base and screw the 2 retaining screws into the
holes across the middle of the base. Do not over-
tighten these screws.
– Screw the nut (3) and cap (5) onto the motor
shaft.
– Position the rear guard (2) at the motor hous-
ing (1) and fasten it with the nut (3).
– Position the impeller (4) on the shaft and fasten it
with the cap (5).
• The groove in the centre of the fan blade aligns
with a T-bar on the motor spindle to ensure cor-
rect positioning.
– Position the front guard (6) and secure it by clos-
ing the clips.
Operation
Check before switching on!
DANGER! Caution, risk of injury! The
product may only be put into operation if
no faults are found during the check-up.
Ensure that any defective parts are
replaced before the product is used again.
Check the safe condition of the product:
– Check whether there are any visible defects.
– Check whether all parts of the product are firmly
attached.
Switching On/Off
– To switch on the product from the switch knob (7),
press [1], [2] or [3].
– To switch off the product at the switch knob (7),
press [0].
Swivel operation
Switch (8) pulled out = normal operation
Switch (8) pushed in = swivel operation
Changing the air direction
– Turn off the product, pull out the mains plug.
– Carefully push the guard upwards or downwards
in the required direction.
Cleaning
DANGER! Caution, risk of injury!
Always pull the mains plug out before
commencing any work on the product.
– Turn off the product, pull out the mains plug.
– Wipe the product with a slightly damp cloth.
