Opening the safety deposit box
using the code
1. Enter the 3-8 digit code or master code
using the keyboard and fi nish with * or #.
A beep will sound for each button press.
Once the correct code has been entered,
the OPEN indicator light will come on
and you have 5 seconds to turn the knob
(4) clockwise and open the safety deposit
box before it relocks automatically.
2. If you or anyone else, e.g. a burglar,
enters the wrong code, the safety deposit
box will not open.
If the wrong code has been entered
3 times in a row, a warning alarm will
sound from the safety deposit box.
Securing the safety deposit box
In order to reduce the risk of the safety
deposit box and its contents being stolen, it
can be bolted securely to the fl oor or wall or
fi tted in a fi xed cupboard.
Mount the safety deposit box in a place
where it is not immediately visible to
burglars.
The safety deposit box has a number of holes
in its base and rear wall so that it can be
secured using the accompanying expansion
bolts.
The safety deposit box must be mounted
horizontally.
Do not secure the safety deposit box through
both the rear wall and the base.
