Safety notes
• CAUTION: Only transport packaged food­
stuffs in this product.
• Only mount the bike basket to the handlebar
as described in the instructions for use.
• The handlebar bracket is designed for handle­
bars with a diameter of 23mm (thick pad, pre­
installed) and 25.4mm (thin pad, included).
• Ensure the bike basket is securely attached
prior to each ride.
• Never load the bike basket with loads heavier
than 5kg.
• Never exceed the bike's approved total
weight. The bike's handling performance will
change depending on the load inside the bike
basket.
• Never bend or pinch Bowden cables.
• Never cover reflectors or lights.
• Do not modify the bike basket or mounting
bracket.
• Only mount the handlebar basket in ac­
cordance with the instructions for use and
make sure that the end of the cord does not
protrude from the top of the handlebar holder
as such could cause injury.
• Check that all the connecting elements are
secure before every trip.
• Attention! Attach the carrying straps in such a
way that they cannot get caught in the brake
elements or the rotating wheel.
• Remove the handlebar basket from your
bicycle if you are transporting the bicycle
on public roads on a roof rack, rear rack, or
similar transport system.
Assembly
1. Fold open the bike basket (1) (Fig. A).
2. Place the inserts (6) or (7) around the han­
dlebar to protect it.
Note: depending on the handlebar diameter,
select either the thin (6) or thick (7) insert.
3. Place the handlebar holder (3) over the
inserts around the handlebar.
4. Place the cable (8) around the handlebar
from above and guide it around the handle­
bar at the bottom (Fig. B).
5. Thread the cable from above through the
outer grommet and tighten it (Fig. B).
6. Tighten the screw (4a) using the Allen key
(2) and secure the cable.
7. Thread the cable (8) through the lefthand
grommet from below (Fig. B).
8. Place the cable around the handlebar at
the bottom and insert the end of the cable
from above through the remaining grommet
(Fig. B).
9. Tighten the screw (4a) using the Allen key
and secure the cable end.
10. Place the washers (5) on the ends of the
screws (4b) and insert these into the screw
holes (3a) on the handlebar holder (Fig. C).
11. Tighten the screws using the Allen key, to
secure the handlebar holder to the handle­
bar (Fig. C).
