GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS MACHINE
* The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks!
* Switch the machine off before removing it from the base.
* Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
* The base and exterior of the machine must not become wet.
FIRST USE OF THE MACHINE
Before using the machine for the first time water should be in it twice without any
additives.
1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill! Use the water level indicator.
3. Place the kettle flush on the base.
4. Electrical connection
* Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the
machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base.
* Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230V, 50Hz safety socket.
5. Switch the machine to position "1". The control lamp on the water level indicator shows
that the water is being boiled.
6. After boiling the machine switches off automatically.
Disconnect the machine from the mains electricity supply.
Do not press us the lid when pouring.
CLEANING
Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the machine!
The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly damp cloth
without additives.
The calcium filter can be removed for cleaning.
INSTRUCTIONS ON ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle;
handle it over at a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances
The symbol on the product ,the instruction for use or the packing will inform about the
methods for disposal.
The materials are recyclable as memtioned in its marking .By recycling material recycling
or other forms of re-utilization of old appliances you are making an important contribution
to protect our environment.
