6. LOCK FACE SECURITY CODE SETUP
Important: Your safe comes programmed with a factory code of [ 1 5 9 # ]. It is necessary
to re-program your safe with a new security code you have personally selected to provide
maximum household security. Be careful in choosing your new security code, you'll want
to be sure that you can operate the unit quickly without making an error.
1. Swipe finger(s) across the keypad to
"wake up" and activate the lockface. Two
random numbers will illuminate when
the lock face wakes up. Individually
press both of the two numbers, in any
order, to allow full access to the keypad.
Insert the factory preset code of
(1-5-9-#). This will unlock the safe in a
DEFAULT MODE. (DO NOT use this code
while securing items in your safe)

On the inside of the safe door, locate the
brass cap. Unscrew and remove the cap,
giving access to the reset button. Press
the reset button. You will hear 2 beeps
and the touch pad will illuminate
indicating that you are now in
programming mode.

Enter your new 3 to 8 digit security
code followed by the [ * ] symbol.
If programming is is successful: touch
pad will beep 2 times and green unlock
LED will flash 2 times.
If your code was not accepted: the
touch pad will beep three times and
the yellow lock LED will flash 3 times.
Press the reset button and start again.
Inactivity Timeout: If this programming sequence is not completed within
10 seconds the red LED will flash 3 times and the touch pad will shut
down. Return to step 1 to restart this process.
