• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children

CAUTION:
Do not immerse the device into water for cleaning. Please follow

Unpacking the Device
1. Remove the device from its packaging.
2. Remove all of the packaging material such as foils, filling
material, cable holders and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery.
4. Check the appliance for any transport damage to pre-
vent a hazard.
NOTE:
There may still be dust or production residues on the sur-
face of the device. We recommend that you quickly wipe
off the housing with a damp cloth.

Assembly Instructions
The device must be completely assembled before initial
operation!
NOTE:
• You will need a small Philips screwdriver for the
assembly.
• Screws not included with the accessories are pre-fitted
on the individual parts.
• Also observe the "Overview of the Components" on
page 3.
1. Unscrew the mounting ring (10) in an anticlockwise
direction. Keep it ready to hand.
2. Position the rear protection grid (8) in place in accord-
ance with the recesses.
NOTE:
Please ensure that the carrying handle is facing
upwards.
3. Turn the attachment ring (10) for the rear protection grid
(8) slightly in a clockwise direction.
4. Attach the propeller (2) to the motor shaft (3).
5. Tighten the attachment screw (11) for the propeller in an
anticlockwise direction.
6. Remove the pre-assembled fastening screw (12) and
nut (9) from the wire mesh guard. Keep it ready to hand.
7. Hang the front protective guard (13) to the rear protec-
tive guard with the hook (1).
NOTE:
Ensure that the holes for the attachment screw in the
front and rear protective grille are aligned one above
the other.
