Fasten the top rail to the posts with three
screws through the pre-drilled holes in
the clips [Figure 9].

To complete the stair railing, trim to length and angle
cut a 2x4 for handrail. (Tip: The angle of the cuts
should be the same as for the top rail.) Fasten over
the top rail, using screws at 6" on centre [Figure 10].
