IMPORTANT NOTES
Please check the fit of the helmet before every use. A helmet cannot provide protection
against injuries at all times and cannot be considered a replacement for the correct
manner of driving for any given situation. Please follow the traffic rules at all times and
be proactive and careful when driving.
The helmet may get structurally damaged in case of a fall or any kind of high impact.
Since these damages are not always visible, always replace the helmet after a fall or any
kind of high impact.
Original parts may not be removed or replaced with other parts under any circumstanc-
es. If you need replacement parts, please contact your PUKY specialist dealer. Only use
water or solvent-free cleaning agents to clean the helmet.
Wash the helmet padding using a commercially available textile detergent at a maximum
temperature of 40°. The helmet may not be exposed to temperatures of more than 65°
since this can permanently affects its protective effect. Store the helmet such that it is
protected against UV radiation as much as possible, and do not store it behind glass
panes (e.g. in cars) or near any kind of heat sources.
This helmet has a limited service life since the materials used age under UV radiation.
The helmet must thus be replaced 5 years after the date of manufacture (see the inside
of the helmet).
Similarly, the helmet must be replaced at the first signs of any kind of wear or damage
even if it has not yet reached its service life of 5 years. At the end of its service life, dispose
of the helmet as per the relevant specifications in the country of usage.
This helmet is for pedal cycling, skateboarding or roller skating. It is not suitable for skiing,
climbing, riding or for use in motor-driven vehicles. The helmet may not be used during
activities where the straps could lead to strangulation if the child gets caught somewhere
with the helmet on his or her head. This helmet may thus not be used in play areas and
especially on climbing frames under any circumstances.
Even accidents with less intensity can lead to serious injuries. So please ensure
that your child never rides without the helmet, read this user manual carefully
and always make sure that the helmet fits correctly.
