Operation

magnetic rotor of sealed synchronous motor.
Use
To be set into operation in compliance with the safety regulations. Place directly into water. For operating
fountains ,water cycles etc .Place the pump on a horizontal surface ,which is elevated by the edge of the
basin (prevents the pump from becoming excessively muddy).Never let pump run without water.
Maintenance
Cleaning of filter sponge: Wash out regularly ,at the latest when pump power starts to drop. Press the intake
sieve together sideways and pull it off. Rinse out with lukewarm water, removing the deposits in doing so.
Insert the filter sponge ,place the intake sieve on . Store in water ,during winter as well; protect against frost
(turn the pump on now and then to prevent malfunction due to sedimentation).
Safety regulations
Do not operate when cable or housing appear to be defective. Defective cord is not repairable and cannot be
replaced. Make apparatus inoperable before throwing it away. Run off the electricity mains only ,with safety-
contact plugs. The use of the following is not permitted: power net –works, extension or connection flexes,
adapters without earthing contact . Operate only with earth –leakage circuit-breaker. Electric power supply
has to correspond to indications on the type label. Please do not pull on, carry or hang up by the lead .
Before every intervention: Turn off the power source and all electric apparatus connected via the water , This
apparatus should not be used in strongly chlorinated water ,acid or base,because this could influence the
lead's durability .Use in garden pools is only allowed, if its use corresponds to your local legal regulations!If
the pump use in outdoor fountains,garden ponds and similar places ,the pump is to be supplied through a
residual current device(RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
