Mounting options
Ideally, the radio magnetic contacts are attached using the adhesive
pads supplied.
The mounting surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Please pre-
treat with an appropriate cleaning agent, otherwise the radio magnetic
contacts may fall off even after weeks or months of operation and
trigger an unexpected alarm.
No processing at surface temperatures below 15°C.
The adhesive pads only reach their final strength after approx. 24 hours.
If mounting with adhesive pads is not possible (e.g. on a door or flap),
screw mounting is also possible. Corresponding markings can be found
on the inside of the transmitter housing.
Using adhesive pads on rough surfaces
(all except glass, acrylic glass)
To achieve the required bonding strength, the non-printed
side must be bonded to the rough surface in the vehicle. The
printed side must be glued to the radio magnetic contact.
Proceed with the magnet accordingly. Otherwise there is a
risk that the radio magnetic contacts will fall off.
Using adhesive pads on glass and acrylic glass windows
(smooth surfaces)
Here, the printed side faces outwards to create a
deterrent effect.
Alignment
The circuit board must no be
aligned with the transmitter LED
facing the magnet! If this is the
case, programming is possible,
however, no alarm is triggered.
