Registration Modes
Registering RX+L units to the RX+R.
Put the RX+L into registration mode and press either the - or + button of
the pairs labelled '1', '2' or '3' that you wish that RX+L to be assigned
to.
The RX+L unit will confirm the units are paired by flashing white or
amber depending on the registration mode the RX+L was put into. (See
RX+L manual for details of RX+L registration modes).
You can independently control up to three RX+L units with one RX+R.
It is also possible to register more than one RX+L to each pair of buttons.
Done this way, each of the RX+L units assigned to any given pair of
buttons will respond identically.
(NOTE : It is also possible, but not advised to register one RX+L to all three pairs
of buttons on the RX+R. This offers no advantages and will use up memory slots
on the RX+L unit. The RX+R will only operate the RX+L with the last pair that was
registered with that RX+L.)
Registering RX+S units to the RX+R.
Start with all RX+S units powered down.
Press and hold, for >1.5 seconds, the 'S' button on the RX+R you wish to
assign the first RX+S unit to i.e. S1, S2 or S3.
The corresponding LED for that button will flash orange and stay flash-
ing for 10 seconds. Power on the RX+S unit you wish to register, whilst
the orange LED is flashing and the LED will briefly change to continuous
green before extinguishing, to indicate successful registration. If no
RX+S is turned on within 10 seconds the LED will stop flashing. In this
instance no RX+S has been registered and any previous registration will
be retained. It is also possible to exit registration mode before the 10
seconds elapses by a single press of the button. This will also retain any
existing registration.
If, however, it is desired to erase an existing registration, this can be
done by double-tapping the button, before the 10 seconds elapses.
Only one RX+S unit can be assigned to each button making a maximum of
three RX+S units in total that can be controlled with one RX+R.
