1. Attach the blade to the blade arm using the blade screws
as shown in Fig. 9.
2. Tighten each screw. Make sure the blade is straight.
3. Fasten one blade assembly to the motor using the two blade arm
screws and spring washers supplied (see Fig. 9).
4. Repeat this process with the other blades.
Warning: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not
bend the blade arms while installing, balancing the
!
blades, or cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign objects
between rotating fan blades.
Before starting installation, disconnect the power by
turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at
!
fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not
sufficient to prevent electric shock.
1. Unscrew three screws from the light kit.
2. While holding the light holder under your fan, make the
polarized plug connections:
- White to white.
- Blue to black.
3. Attach the light kit into the switch house and secure
with the three screws.
4. Install two 40 W bulbs (not included).
5. Remove the finial, cap, hex nut and washer from the
light kit.
6. Raise the glass shade up against the light kit, place the washer
over the light kit and turn hex nut clockwise until it locks up
against the light kit. Do not over-tighten. Place the cap over
the light kit and secure the finial provided (see Fig. 10).
(Note: make sure the side hole of the glass shade and cap
should be in line.)
7. Insert the pull chain for fan through the side hole of the shade and cap.
Attach one pull chain for light to the chain for the light and attach
pull chain for fan to the chain for fan. (Fig. 14)
8. Restore power and your light kit is ready for operation.
