8. Using the gyro remote control
The position sensor in the gyro remote control supplied with the product can
interpret your gestures and can therefore be used like a computer mouse on
the user interface of the Lifesmart TV.
8.1. Switching the gyro remote control on and off
Press the POWER button on the remote control and keep it pressed for
about three seconds to switch on the remote control.
The sound of two short, low-pitched beeps will signal that it is switched on.
•
The remote control will then establish the wireless connection to the
Lifesmart TV.
•
While the remote control is searching for a connection to the Lifesmart
TV, the Power LED will be purple and will flash rapidly.
•
Once the connection has been made, the Power LED will turn blue and
will stop flashing.
PLEASE NOTE!
This will only work if the remote control is within the
range of the Lifesmart TV (approx. seven metres) and
the Lifesmart TV is switched on!
Switching off the remote control
To switch the remote control off, press the POWER button again and
keep it pressed for about three seconds.
The sound of one short, high-pitched beep will confirm that it is switched off.
8.2. Connecting the gyro remote control manually
If the link (connection) to the Lifesmart TV cannot be established, you can
also start the connection process manually by pressing the
on the remote control (with the remote control switched on) and keeping it
pressed until you feel a short vibration.
The gyro remote control will now link up to the Lifesmart TV again.
8.3. Using the mouse function on the remote control
In order to move the cursor on the screen, place your index finger on the
cursor control on the underside of the remote control and move the
remote control up and down and to the left and right.
Press the cursor control in order to select a button on the screen.
The movement will stop when you take your finger off the cursor control.
