OPERATION
NOTICE:
When placing battery pack in the tool, be sure raised
rib on battery pack aligns with the bottom of the tool
and latches into place properly. Improper installation
of the battery pack can cause damage to internal
c omponents.
Close the battery cover and turn the lock knob to secure
the cover.
To remove:
Unlock and open the battery cover.
Depress the latch and pull to release and remove the
battery pack.
Close and secure the battery cover.
WARNING:
Battery tools are always in operating condition. There-
fore, switch should always be locked with hands free
of the lock-out button when not in use. Remove battery
pack when transporting or carrying the tool to avoid
accidental starting, which may result in serious injury.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE POWER
CLEANER
See Figure 8.
WARNING:
Hold the power cleaner securely with both hands.
Expect the power cleaner to move when the trigger is
pulled due to reaction forces. Failure to do so could
cause loss of control and injury to yourself and others.
To start:
Connect the garden hose or submerge filtered end of
siphon hose into water source.
Install the battery pack.
Place the lock-out button in the unlocked position.
Squeeze and hold the trigger to operate.
Start with the nozzle 1–2 ft. away from the cleaning surface
and carefully approach the surface just until the desired
level of cleaning is achieved. If the spray is too close it can
damage the cleaning surface.
To stop:
Release the trigger to stop the flow of water through the
nozzle.
Place the lock-out button in the locked position.
Remove the battery pack.
SELECTING THE RIGHT NOZZLE FOR THE JOB
See Figure 9.
Each of the nozzles has a different spray pattern. Before
starting any cleaning job, determine the best nozzle for the
job. Refer to the Nozzle Selection Guide for more informa-
tion. Rotate the nozzle until the desired position is selected.

ATTACHING AND USING THE FOAMER
NOZZLE
See Figures 10 - 12.
The foamer nozzle attachment a llows you to use foaming
detergent while using your power cleaner.
Place the lock-out button in the locked position.
Remove the battery pack.
If the 3-in-1 nozzle is installed, remove by pressing the
button on the spray wand and pulling on the nozzle to
release it.
Install the foamer nozzle by inserting it into the spray
wand and pushing it until it clicks securely in place.
Remove the detergent cup by twisting it 90˚ counterclock-
wise.
Remove from the lid and set it aside.
NOTE: Follow the detergent manufacturer's directions for
mixing.
To replace the detergent cup, align the tabs at the top
with the notches in the lid.
Turn the detergent cup 90˚ clockwise to lock it into place.
Reinstall the battery pack.
Squeeze the trigger and wait approximately 5 seconds
for the detergent to appear.
Spray the detergent on a dry surface using long, even,
overlapping strokes. To prevent streaking, do not allow
detergent to dry on the surface.
Reinstall the battery pack.
