Purpose of the document
The instructions are part of the Duravit product. Failure
to follow the instructions may result in damage to health
due to poor hygiene or product damage due to improper
cleaning.

NOTE
Product damage due to improper cleaning and care.
If the cleaning is not carried out regularly enough, soiling
may become more difficult to remove.
> Clean the surface regularly and immediately if soiled.
The wrong cleaning agents, cleaning equipment and
cleaning devices can damage and discolour the surface.
> Only use cleaning agents and cleaning accessories
recommended by Duravit.
> Do NOT use the following cleaning agents:
• Benzene-based cleaning agents (e.g. cleaning
solvent)
> Follow the instructions provided by the cleaning agent
manufacturer.
> Only use cleaning equipment that is intended for
the application (NO high-pressure washers or steam
cleaning machines).
Cosmetics and everyday objects can damage the surface
and permanently discolour it.
> Avoid contact with nail polish, lipstick and hair dyes.
> Avoid contact with tea, coffee and red wine.
> Remove the staining immediately.
> Do NOT place pointed, sharp or abrasive objects directly
on the product.
UV radiation can permanently discolour the surface.
> Avoid direct, constant sunlight.

Cleaning
> Clean the surface with a damp cleaning cloth.
> Remove heavier soiling with the recommended cleaning
agent that you apply to the cloth.
> Rinse with clean water to remove all traces of the
cleaning agent.
> Dry the surface.
