Notes:
1.
The sample temperature should be between 20 °C and 30 °C.
2.
Determination at the latest one hour after sample taking.
3.
Exceeding the measuring range:
Concentrations above 2 mg/l can lead to results within the measuring range. In this case,
the water sample must be diluted with Urea free water and the measurement repeated.
4.
The AMMONIA No. 1 tablet will only dissolve completely after the AMMONIA No. 2
tablet has been added.
5.
Do not store reagent 1 (Urease) below 10°C; granulation possible.
Store reagent 2 (Urease) in the refrigerator at a temperature of 4°C to 8°C.
6.
Ammonium and chloramines are also measured during urea measurement.
7.
Before analysing seawater samples, a measuring spoon of Ammonia Conditioning
Powder must be added to the sample and swirled to dissolve before AMMONIA No. 1
tablet is added.
