PROBLEM
The appliance does not turn
on.
The appliance has automati-
cally turned off.
The appliance won't dispen-
se coffee.
The appliance dispenses too
little coffee.
Mechanical pumping noise
while the appliance is hea-
ting up and/or dispensing

The pump makes a noise but
no coffee is dispensed.

generate hot water/steam.
TROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Slt is unplugged.
Automatic Shut-Down Fun-
ction: after 25 minutes of
inactivity, the appliance swi-
tches off automatically.
Appliance off.
lncorrect coffee volume.
Coffee grind too fine and/or
too much coffee inside.
Use of E.S.E. pod in the
wrong filter.
System partially blocked by
limescale
During the Espresso, Steam
or Hot Water cycles, you'II
hear mechanical or pumping
noises.
This is just the appliance
normai operation.
Out of water.
Clogged circuits.

Cup too cold.
The operating temperature
was probably not reached.
SOLUTION
CCheck that the plug is
correctly inserted into the
socket and press the power
buttons as indicateci in the
instructions for use.
Switch the appliance on.
Connect the power supply,
switch on and wait for it to
heat up.
Programme the coffee vo-
lume as indicateci in the in-
structions for use.
lnsert less coffee in the filter
holder.
Piace the E.S.E. pods insi-
de the filter supplied in the
package.
Launch the descaling cycle,
as
indicateci
in
the
structions for use.
Add potable water to the
tank.
Clean and perform the de-
scaling cycle, as indicateci in
the instructions for use.
Pre-heat the cup with hot
water.
Wait for the appliance to
reach the operating tempe-
rature.
