Removing the manifold from the system
After completing service operations, you must remove the manifold from the system without losing
refrigerant or admitting air.
1. Close valves E and C.
2. Then open manifold valves A, B and D, 1/2 turn.
3. Close valve F.
This arrangement will move all the high-pressure refrigerant from the line and the high-pressure gauge and
put it into the low side.
Close all manifold valves and remove hoses.
1. Close valve D.
2. Connect (H) hose ③ to pump.
3. Open valve C.
4. Open valves A and B.
5. Mid position valves E and F.
Caution:
The refrigerant should be recycled by recovery unit,
vacuum pump can not pump system with refrigerant.
Purge as in in the section
"To purge hoses before hooking up"
1. Connect (4) hose G to refrigerant.
2. Open valve A.
3. Open valves B and C.
4. Open valve D and throttle.
5. Crack open back seat E and F.
