IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using and keep for future reference.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated
on the rating label. Make sure the outlet is properly grounded.
3. Keep the device away from sources of humidity, heat and direct
sunlight.
4. To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury do not immerse
cord, plug or unit in water or other liquids.
5. This appliance can be used by children of 8 years old and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
those who lack experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be
made by children without supervision.
6. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8
years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
7. Keep the device away from children under 8 years old.
8. Place the appliance on a flat, stable, dry surface which is resistant to
high temperatures in a well-ventilated room. Maintain clear space
between the appliance and the wall as well as other objects.
9. Do not use the device if its power cord or plug is damaged, or in case
of any other malfunction.
