USE
ATTENTION: Use eye and acoustic protection at all times.
Before starting the machine, install the most appropriate diameter drill bit with for the hole that you are going
to make.
Once the drill bit is installed, start the machine and place it in vertical position, resting the tip of the bit on the
centre of the place where you want to make the hole.
Hold the machine with force, slightly raised and accelerate so that the bit begins to turn.
Accelerate the machine to 70% so that the bit acquires an adequate rotation speed.
Allow the machine to rest on the ground while maintaining the engine speed.
The bit will begin to make the hole slowly aided by the weight of the machine itself.
Do not push the machine down to make the hole before. It will force the components of the machine shortening
its useful life.
When you have deepened to the desired height, reduce the rate of rotation while removing the drill bit from
the hole.
When the drill bit has come out of the hole, allow the engine to idle for one second and turn off the machine
by the switch.
When the drill bit has stopped rotating, leave the machine on the ground resting on the bit and with the fuel
tank in a horizontal position.
Tips: If the ground is soft you can make the hole directly with any drill bit but if the ground is hard we recommend
that you first make the hole with the smaller diameter drill bit, then with the medium diameter drill bit and then
with the large one.
MAINTENANCE
Perform regular inspections on the machine to ensure an efficient operation of the machine. For a complete
maintenance, we recommend that you take the machine to your Technical Service.
It is always necessary to stop the engine and check that the cutting tool is stopped before cleaning or transporting
the machine.
Before carrying out any maintenance work or repair on the machine, make sure that the engine is off and remove
the spark plug pipe.
ATTENTION: Do not modify the machine or the cutting elements. Improper use of these items can
cause serious personal injury or death.
Use original spare parts only for this machine in order to obtain adequate machine performance.
Do not adjust the carburettor. If necessary, take your machine to a Technical Service. The carburettor adjustment is
complicated and should only be done by an Authorised Technical Service. Incorrect adjustment of the carburettor
can cause damage to the engine and will be grounds for voiding the warranty.
Removal of safety devices, improper maintenance, and replacement of items with non-original spare parts may
cause bodily injury.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE AFTER USE
GENERAL CLEANING
Keep the machine clean, especially the fuel tank area and the areas near the air filter.
Clean the housings of your machine using a cloth moistened in water.
Never use petrol, solvents, detergents, water or any other liquid to clean the machine.
