MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE SAFETY

Use this machine, accessories, tools, etc. in accordance with these instructions, considering working conditions
and the work to be performed. Using this machine for operations different from those intended could result in
hazardous situations. Check that all safety elements are properly installed and in good condition.
•
Do not modify the machine controls or engine speed adjustments.
•
Be sure that the machine is switched off when you carry out cleaning work on material debris.
•
Do not force this machine. Use the correct equipment for your application. Equipment will perform better and be
safer when used within its design and usage parameters.
•
Keep this machine. Check that moving parts are not misaligned or locked, that there are no broken parts or other
conditions that may affect the operation of this machine.
•
Keep cutting parts sharp and clean. Cutting parts properly maintained with sharp cutting edges are less likely to
get stuck and easier to control.
•
Keep the handles of this machine dry and clean.
•
Turn off the machine, disconnect the spark plug and make sure that the cutting device is stopped before making
any adjustments, refuelling, changing accessories, cleaning, transporting or storing this machine.
•
If the machine starts to vibrate in a strange way, turn it off and examine it to find the cause. If you cannot detect
the reason, take your machine to an Authorised Service Centre.
•
Reduce the engine speed when you turn the engine off, if the engine is equipped with a fuel shut-off valve, cut
off the fuel when the engine has stopped.
•
Store inactive tools out of the reach of children.
