5.2 Wristband
Temperature
We recommend avoiding extreme temperatures as well as any sharp
temperature fluctuations.
Chemical products
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetics etc., since
they may damage the leather, case or gaskets.
Metal wristband
Even stainless steel wristbands could develop rust due to some corrosion
perspiration accumulating between the wristband links. This kind of rust may
result in a yellow discoloration of your wrist when you perspire.
To prevent rust, wipe off moisture, sweat or dirt with a soft cloth when
convenient. To wash the band, apply neutral detergent (mixed with some water)
to the metal wristband when stains on the surface are noticeable.
For heavy stains, use a tooth brush and remove the stain that has accumulated in
the gaps of the wristband links. Protect the watch head from moisture entering
the watch by wrapping it in plastic wrap etc. After washing, take special care to
wipe the gaps of the wristband links with a towel and dry the entire watch
thoroughly.
