CHARGING THE APPLIANCE
WARNING :
For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit provided with this appliance (model : KH6-030060US).
- Charge the appliance fully before the first use and after a long
period of disuse.
- While charging, the charging light is red.
- It takes 8 hours to charge the appliance fully and it then has a
battery life of approx 45min.
1. Push the fixed plate "1" to the "unlocked" position.
2. Insert the adapter "2" then push to the "locked" position and lock
the adapter in place.
3. Plug the adapter into the mains.
4. Place the appliance on the charging base.
5. Once charging is complete, unplug the adaptor from the wall
socket.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO BEGIN
- Make sure that the appliance is switched off before changing the clipping heads and accessories.
- To attach a head, adjust the bottom of the accessory on the appliance and interlock until you hear a click.
- To remove a head, hold the appliance's handle with one hand and remove the head with the other hand by pushing it upwards.
- If you are using the appliance for the fisrt time, please be careful: do not make any fast movements; uniform movements are recommended.
USING THE GUIDE COMBS
- The cutting height indicated on the guide combs is given in mm and corresponds to the hair length after cutting.
- Tip : start by cutting using a high cutting height and gradually reduce the cutting height until you achieve the desired result.
The guide comb guarantees a uniform cutting height.
- IMPORTANT : always position the guide comb BEFORE turning the appliance on and always turn the appliance off
before changing the guide comb.
- Place the guide comb on the edges of the blades, then push on the back of the guide comb until you hear a click.
To remove, detach the back of the guide comb, then remove it.
PRECISION ADJUSTMENT BUTTON
- The precision adjustment button and its three positions allows extremely tight adjustment for a precise cut.
- The appliance is on the shortest setting when the number 3 is visible under the button.
- To increase the cutting height from 0.5mm to 1mm, slide the button downwards so that the number 2 is visible above the button.
- To increase the cutting height to 2mm, slide the button downwards so that numbers 1 and 2 are visible above the button.
NOTE : the precision adjustment can only be used with the U blade and the T blade.
USER-MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
- Regular maintenance of the blades will keep the appliance in an optimum conditions.
- Make sure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged.
- Remove the guide comb and clean it using the cleaning brish provided.
- Brush the blades carefully using the cleaning brush to remove any hair.
- Turn your appliance on and carefully add a few drops of lubricating oil to the blades.
Wait for a few seconds, then turn the appliance off and remove any excess oil using a dry cloth.
Only use the oil supplied in the kit: this has speen specially formulated for the appliance.
HOW TO REMOVE THE BATTERY
Note : we advise that you have the rechargeable battery removed by a professional.
Only remove the rechargeable battery when you are intending to discard the appliance.
Unplug the appliance from the mains. Make sure that the battery is fully discharged when you remove it.
1. Check if there are screws in the front or back of the appliance. If there are, remove it.
2. Remove the appliance's front and/or rear panel using a screwdriver.
3. If necessary, remove the screws and/or additional parts until you can see the printed circuit board with the rechargeable battery.
If necessary, cut the wires to separate the printed circuit board and the rechargable battery from the appliance.
- The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped;
- The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery;
- The battery is to be disposed of safely.

are not covered by the warranty. If the product becomes faulty with
