Connect Batteries in Series or Parallel
Balance Batteries Prior to Connection
Before connecting batteries in series or parallel, balance batteries to reduce voltage
differences and optimize their performance. Follow 3 steps:
1. Use a qualified battery balancer to balance batteries.
2. Monitor the voltage of each battery. The voltages difference of each battery less than 0.1V
is best.
3. Connect all the batteries in parallel and allow them to rest together for 12 to 24 hours.
Refer to the instructions of the battery balancer for safety operation.

Periodically rebalancing the battery voltage every 6 months when connecting

multiple batteries is recommended, except during initial connection. Slight
voltage differences can occur among batteries over time due to factors like
battery chemistry, capacity, temperature, and usage.
Connect Directly or Use Busbars
You can connect batteries in series or parallel directly, or connecting them to busbars for
distributing power efficiently.
Take the example of a parallel connection of 2 batteries:
