If we are installing a towbar on a "petrol" version vehicle, disassemble from the vehicle's left spar the petrol
plastic tube support.
7.
Place the left component "B" on the inner side of the left spar interjecting in correspondence to holes "01"
gauge "E" and sparer "D", insert screws and then fix.
8.
Place the right component "C" on the inner side of the right spar interjecting in correspondence to holes "01"
gauge "E" and sparer "D", insert screws and then fix.
9.
Place the drawbeam "A" between components "B" and "C" in correspondence to holes "02" and "03", insert
screws and then fix.
10.
Tighten all bolts and nuts with a tightening torque as shown in the enclosed layout.
11.
Connect the wiring to the socket (usually given apart), following the car booklet's instructions "use and
maintenance" as shown in the enclosed wiring kit layout.
12.
If we are installing a towbar on a "petrol" version vehicle, reassemble on the vehicle's left spar the petrol plastic
tube support.
13.
Reassemble the heat guard cladding.
14.
Reassemble the muffler and its rubber support.
15.
Reassemble the rear bumper.
ONLY FOR YARIS '11: Reassemble the central plastic carter.

Make sure that the tow bar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the installation. Verify also that the
vehicle's towing disposal quoted on the car registration is mentioned on the tow bar document. Otherwise ask
for the appropriate office (umbrarimorchi@umbrarimorchi.it) for explanations or updated documents.
•
For safety, all work involving tow bar installation must be undertaken by skilled technicians.
•
Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer's spares parts by qualified staff.
•
It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to the tow bar.
•
The tow ball must be kept clean and lubricated. For added safety, his diameter (50 mm) must be checked at
regular intervals. If the tow ball measures less than 49 mm after selected readings across the diameter, the
tow ball must be replaced with a new one.
•
After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and bolts, in accordance with the table.
Sous le véhicule, éliminez le mastic des points de contact entre le châssis et le crochet d'attelage. Vernissez les
surfaces sans mastic avec de la peinture antirouille. Les trous nécessaires à la fixation de l'attelage sur le véhicule
sont déjà présents.

Desserrez la partie inférieure du pare-chocs arrière.
UNIQUEMENT POUR YARIS '11: démontez le carter central plastique et faites une découpe en suivant le
schéma ci-joint.
2.
Faites une incision sur la superficie inférieure du pare-chocs (arrière) en suivant le schéma ci-joint.
3.
Démontez le carter central plastique (ne sera pas remonté) qui se trouve sous le pare-chocs arrière.
4.
Démontez le pot d'échappement du support en caoutchouc et baissez-le.
5.
Démontez le revêtement pare-chaleur qui se trouve en correspondance du pot d'échappement et faites une
découpe (sur le revêtement) en suivant le schéma ci-joint.
6.
Si vous êtes en train d'installer le dispositif de remorquage sur un véhicule version "essence", démontez du
longeron gauche du véhicule le support du pot en plastique pour l'essence.
7.
Positionnez le composant gauche "B" à l'intérieure du longeron gauche, en interposant, en correspondance
des trous "01", l'épaisseur "E" et l'entretoise "D" ; insérez les vis puis fixez.
8.
Positionnez le composant droit «C» à intérieure du longeron droit, en interposant, en correspondance des
trous "01", l'épaisseur "E" et l'entretoise "D" ; insérez les vis puis fixez.
9.
Positionnez la traverse de remorquage "A" entre les composants "B" et "C" en se référant "02 et 03". Insérez
le vis et fixez.
10.
Bien serrez la boulonnerie au couple de serrage préconisé (voir tableau).
11.
Effectuez le branchement du faisceau électrique (normalement fourni séparément) en suivant les instructions
indiquées dans le manuel "utilisation et entretien" du véhicule et dans le schéma fourni avec le kit électrique.
12.
Si vous êtes en train d'installer le dispositif de remorquage sur un véhicule version "essence", remontez sur
