The power setting works as any other normal area.

If the cookware is moved from the front to the rear part (or viceversa), the flexible
area detects automatically the new position, keeping the same power.
As two independent zones
To use the flexible area as two different zones with different power settings, press the
HoriZone key (2) again.
Using Barbecue function (only in some models)
1. By pressing the button (9), the BBQ function will be activated only in the flexible
zones. In these zones, the BBQ indicators will flash and the controls (3) will remain
inactive. The rest of the cooking zones will not be modified.
2. Once the proper cooking temperature has been reached, an acoustic signal will
sound and the BBQ indicator will be permanently displayed.
3. To cancel the barbecue function, press the button (9) again. The corresponding
flexible zones will turn off.
Keylock (child safety feature)

You can lock the keys to prevent unintended use (for example children accidentally
turning the cooking zones on).
To lock the keys
Depending on the model, touch the Keylock (6) or the - and + buttons (1) simultaneously.
The timer display will show "Lo".
To unlock the keys
1. Make sure the induction hob is turned on.
2. Depending on the model, touch the Keylock (6) or the - and + buttons (1)
simultaneously.
3. You can now start using your induction hob.
When the hob is in the lock mode, all the keys are disabled except the
ON/OFF (5) and Keylock (6) or the - and + keys (1) (depending on the
model). You can always turn the induction hob off with the ON/OFF (5) in
an emergency, but you shall unlock the hob first in the next operation.
