Lava Rock broilers use the surface heat of the briquettes causing the product drippings to smoke slightly and add flavor to the
beef, poultry or fish product. The heat will cause the rocks to become smaller or shrink over time. It is suggested that a new bed
or topping off of the existing rock bed be done 3 or 4 times per year.
