TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Before calling the After-Sales Service:
1. See if you can solve the problem yourself (see
"Troubleshooting guide").
2. Restart the appliance to check if the problem
has been solved.
If not, disconnect the appliance again and repeat
the procedure after one hour.
3. If the problem persists after this course of
action, contact after-sales service.
Specify:
• the nature of the problem,
• the model,
• the Service number (the number that you find
after the word "SERVICE" on the rating plate
placed inside the appliance),
• your full address,
• your telephone number and area code.
INSTALLATION
• Install the appliance away from heat sources.
• Place the appliance in a well-ventilated, dry
space.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation space above and
below the appliance.
• Clean the inside (see "How to clean the
refrigerator compartment" chapter).
• Fit all accessories included.
Connecting the electricity supply
• Electrical connections must be made in
accordance with local regulations.
• Information relating to power supply and
consumption can be found on the plate located
on the side of the fruit and vegetable drawers.
• Regulations require the appliance to be
earthed. The manufacturer declines all
liability for injury to persons or animals
and for damage to property resulting from
failure to observe the above procedures and
reminders.
• If the plug and the socket are not compatible, ask
a qualified technician to substitute the plug.
• Do not use extension cables or multi-plug
adaptors.
Note:
Reversing the doors of the appliance, if carried
out by the Technical Assistance Service, is not
considered as a warranty claim.
Disconnecting the appliance from the
electricity supply
• Unplug the appliance or use the bipolar mains
switch above the plug to disconnect it.
