Preparing for operation
Remove all packaging material from the appliance and put it on a stable, water resistant and flat sur-
face.
Before first use clean all detachable parts carefully (see chapter "Cleaning").
Unscrew the motor unit (1) from blender cup (3) by twisting it anti-clock-wise.
Charging the battery
Place the USB charging lead (5) on top of the charging socket (6) as shown at picture B. The USB
charging lead has a magnetic connection.
Connect the USB charging lead (5) with a suitable USB power supply or connect to a USB connector
with the required capacity. The button for ON/OFF (7) will light up red during charging. When battery is
fully charged, the button will light up white.
During charging the appliance cannot be used.
Recharge the battery for approx. 1 hour after approx. 6 months' storage.
Operation
The blender cup (3) has a maximum capacity of approx. 300 ml. Always observe the MAX-mark (2) at
the inside of blender cup (3) when filling. Never overfill the blender cup.
Never fill the blender cup (3) with ingredients hotter than 60ºC.
Always pre-cut solid ingredients into small pieces (approx. 1 to 2 cm) before they are processed.
When larger quantities are prepared, process only small batches of ingredients for several times instead
of a large quantity at once.
Put the ingredients and liquid into the blender cup (3). Place the motor unit (1) onto the blender cup (3)
and turn the motor unit clockwise until it locks into place.
Attention: The mark (8) at the motor unit (1) and at the blender cup (3) must
be aligned as shown at picture B. The appliance has a security switch at the
motor unit (1) which only operates while the two marks (8) are in aligned posi-
tion. Otherwise the appliance does not work.
Touch rapidly two-times on the button for ON/OFF (7) to start the blending process. Turn the appliance
by 180 degree (picture C) and swing it gently to let the blades process the ingredients efficiently.
The appliance switches off automatically after 40 seconds. The blending process can be repeated to get
better results.
The blending process can be stopped at any time by touching the button for ON/OFF (7)
Cleaning and maintenance
The appliance is easier to clean if you do so immediately after use.
Make sure that you do not injure yourself at the cutting unit when cleaning the glass-jar.
For ease of cleaning, the blender cup (3) can be washed in the dishwasher. We recommend gently
cleaning with warm running water. If you use a dishwasher, the harsh environment inside the dishwash-
er will affect the surface finishes. The damage should be cosmetic only, and should not affect the opera-
tion of the appliance.
Attention: The motor unit (1) is not dishwasher-safe!
Only clean the motor unit with warm running water with some washing-up liquid. Never immerse the
motor unit (1) in water.
Important: Never use scouring or abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids.
Let all parts of the appliance dry completely before assembling.
