Magnets
It is important for your headpiece to have the correct magnet strength and
orientation to avoid discomfort or retention issues. Contact your cochlear
implant professional if there are any concerns regarding magnet retention.
If deemed appropriate, your cochlear implant professional may replace the
headpiece magnet with a stronger or weaker magnet, or adjust magnet
orientation.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Periodically, clean your headpiece using a soft cloth. Do not use solvents.
Replace the color cap every few months, or sooner, if a change in sound
quality is noted.
