CORDLESS ELECTRIC PRUNING SHEAR
15.4 CHAIN TENSION
When using the chainsaw, the chain overheats and could stretch. If necessary,
adjust the chain tension as follows.
•
Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
•
Use the supplied Allen wrench to slightly loosen the locking nut (1).
•
Unscrew (to decrease tension) or screw in (to increase tension) the chain
tension adjustment screw (3).
•
Using your protective gloves, pull the chain down and check that the chain
guide links are still visible halfway up the bottom of the bar.
•
If the guide links are completely visible when you pull the chain down, or
if they are not visible at all, it means that the tension is incorrect.
•
Repeat the adjustment.
•
Tighten the two locknuts (1).
Warning!
The disassembly of the chain sprocket should not be carried out by the user,
but by a specialized service center.
If the chain sprocket is damaged, do not use the chainsaw and take it to a
specialized service center.
