Pay attention that all hoses:
- Have a cross section being large enough,
- do not have any restrictions or kinks,
- are designed for a minimum operating pressure of 6 bar,
- are replaced regularly at preventative maintenance,
- have an oil resistant inner surface and an abrasion-resistant outer surface,
- are proved and specified to be non-conductive when being used next to electric
conductors.
When operating the machine in areas exposed to explosion hazards, always use antistatic
hoses, lubricating oil and antifreeze lubricants, which meet the local safety requirements.
Connecting the air supply to the pneumatic core drill
Remove the locking cap from the air connection 3. Connect the pneumatic hose (not
contained in the scope of delivery) item 5 (see fig. 2).
General
Basically, you differentiate between "freehand drilling" and "drilling with a drill rig". The two
different operating modes are described below.
Assembly and disassembly tools are part of the full scope as well:
Wrench
AF 22
Wrench AF 32
Wrench AF 41
Freehand drilling
Mount the spot-drilling support onto the centering collar to ensure precise pointing.
