Functions
Power On / Off
1. Press and hold POWER key
2. A »Bi« sound indicates the unit is ready for use and the LCD display will show all icons.
3. After one second the unit will go to standby mode. (Fig.2)
4. Press and hold POWER key
will also be heard, indicating the radio is going to be switched off.
Lock / Unlock Key
1. Press and hold MENU key for 2 seconds to lock the key. (Fig.3)
2. Only PTT and CALL buttons can be activated during key locked operation.
3. To unlock the key, press and hold MENU button again for 2 seconds.
Channel Setting
Select the same channel as that of your partner, e.g. CH = 01
1. Press MENU key one time to enter. (Fig.4)
2. Press + or – key to change the channel.
3. Press POWER key
to confirm the setting.
To Make a Call
Press CALL key one time to send a ring tone to your partner. »TX« shows. (Fig.5)
To Transmit a Signal
Press and hold PTT key and speak into the microphone. »TX« shows. (Fig.5)
If PTT key is pressed and held above 3 minutes, transmission will stop and a warning signal
sounds. Meanwhile, the partner who is in receiving status will stop receiving. After releasing PTT
key, warning signal will be eliminated. Press PTT key again, and transmission will continue.
