3) USING YOUR APPLIANCE
a) Using the rice cooker
Remove the tank from the rice cooker. Measure the desired quantity of rice using the
measuring cup provided with the appliance.
Then, rinse your rice thoroughly and repeatedly until the water becomes completely clear.
Let drain 20 minutes to ensure optimum cooking and pour the rice into the tank.
Pour the appropriate amount of water into the tank. The rice cup and its graduation up to
160g can help you for this operation. Never exceed the maximum level that you can read in
the tank. It is recommended to respect the following quantities to avoid overflow:

Put the tank in the rice cooker, put the lid down and plug the appliance. Switch on the
appliance by pushing the On/Off button situated at the rear of your rice cooker. The 'Keep
warm' indicator will light up.
Push the lever down to begging cooking session. The 'Cooking' indicator will light up. It
takes around 15 minutes to cook the rice.
Never plug the appliance if the inner pot is empty.
Be careful, steam will come out if the vent on the lid.
Do not place the cooker directly under your cabinets.
Do not open the cooker during the cooking cycle! Or if you do be careful, steam
will come out and there is a risk of injuries!
When cooking is finish, the cooker will automatically go into keep warm mode. It will keep
the rice warm after the cooking is finished.
When you open the lid, take out the food from dish or steaming tray carefully as it is very
hot, you need to wear a kitchen glove or use a cloth as pad.
After steaming process is finished, push the On/Off button and take off the plug.
Cooking tips:
Depending on the kind of rice you want, you can adjust the cooking:
- For a softer, fluffier rice: add a little bit more water
- For a crunchier, firmer rice: add a little less water
