7. If you want to use the Kettle again, allow the thermal safety switch to
cool down for 15 to 20 seconds then depress the On/Off Switch to the On
position. If the On/Off Switch does not remain in the On position,
the water is hot enough to use without reheating.
8. Unplug cord from wall outlet before lifting Kettle from Power Base. Only
grip the Kettle by the handle as all other surfaces and the Lid will be hot.
9. Return the Kettle to the Power Base or place on a heat resistant surface
after use.
10. If the Kettle is accidently switched on when empty, the thermostat will
automatically shut it off to prevent the Kettle from overheating. Please
note that the lights inside the kettle will remain on. If this situation
occurs, unplug the Power Base and let the Kettle cool before refilling.
11. It is recommended that the Power Cord be disconnected from the wall
outlet when not in use. DO NOT attempt to connect any other appliance
to the Power Base or tamper with the connector in any way.
CARE AND CLEANING
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the kettle. DO NOT use abrasive
cleaners. Dry thoroughly before use.
DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO ENTER THE POWER BASE
DO NOT IMMERSE THE KETTLE OR POWER BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
Installing the Filter
1. Open the Lid
2. Hold the Filter by the plastic top and gently place Filter between the
spout and the filter holder. The small tab at the bottom of the filter
should fit over the edge of the groove for the filter.
NOTE: Do not attempt to install or remove the filter if the kettle is hot.
