Pre-Installation

Remove the freezer door
WARNING: Unplug the refrigerator from its electrical
outlet. Empty all door shelves.
□
Remove the top hole cap and the top hinge cover, then
unscrew screws and remove the top hinge. Keep the
screws to reuse.
□
Lift the freezer door up and away from the appliance. Set
the door on a non-scratching surface with the outside up.

NOTICE: When removing the top hinge, watch for shim between the
bottom of the hinge and the top of the case that may stick to the
case. Do not lose.
NOTICE: When removing the door, watch for washer between the
center hinge pin and the bottom of the freezer door that may stick to
the door. Do not lose.

Remove the fresh food door
□
Unscrew screws of middle hinge, remove the hinge, hole
caps on the other side then lift the refrigerator door up and
away from your refrigerator. Save the screws to reuse.
□
Lift the fresh food door up and off the bottom hinge. Set the
door outside-up on a nonscratching surface.

NOTICE: Some models have a shim between the center hinge and
the case that may stick to the case. Do not lose. Also save the
washes for the center hinge screws for future use.
