2. PRECAUTIONS
•
Always read completely the instruction manual before working.
•
Never used the tool in the areas that it is not designed for.
•
Always wear eye protection that meets OSHA and ANSI Z87.1 standards.
•
Always wear hand gloves when working with the tool.
CAUTION
Ensure the work area has adequate lighting.
•

Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the work area.
•
Keep work area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials.
•
DO NOT allow untrained persons to use the kit.
•
DO NOT place head in the upper part of the tool when operating (Fig. 1 & 2).
•
Always keep a distance of at least 30cm (1 ft) away from tool when operating (Fig. 3 & 4).

4. INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Mount the MacPherson strut on a workbench and tighten securely.
STEP 2
Place the upper and lower jaws in the spring, and adjust the length
of the main body.
STEP 3
When the tool is mounted at the adequate position, push the metal
plates on security locks on both upper and lower jaws and fasten
the nuts (as shown in the red circle).
STEP 4
Make sure each connection point is set safely (Fig. 5).
STEP 5
Use a 24mm spanner or an air wrench to compress the spring.
